Why families choose us
We’re not a treatment center. We’re the soft landing after—where structure meets dignity, and every day is another chance to practice a life worth protecting.
Chris McGuire and DJ Walker are in long-term recovery. Fourteen-plus years of housing experience means guidance from people who’ve walked this road—not a binder of policies alone.
Clear house rules, drug screening, meeting expectations, and peer support—designed to protect progress without shaming the person doing the hard work.
Smaller residences in North Dallas, Richardson, Dallas, and Downtown Plano—places where you can work, connect, and rebuild a real life.

DJ brings deep personal recovery and a practical sense of what keeps people steady after treatment— community, clear expectations, and someone who picks up when it matters. Safe, high-standard housing for men and women in DFW.
Google Reviews
Families, alumni, and referral partners—honest words about what it feels like when housing finally supports the work of recovery.
“This place gave my son structure when he needed it most. Chris and DJ actually pick up the phone, visit the houses, and care about the guys. You can tell they’ve been there—it shows in every conversation.”
“After treatment I needed somewhere real—not a hotel with rules. The house was clean, the expectations were clear, and the community helped me stay focused on work and meetings. I finally felt like I had a shot.”
“The women’s house in Plano was exactly what my sister needed. Safe, professional, and it still felt like a home. Intake was straightforward and communication was excellent the whole way.”
“As a case manager I’ve referred several clients. They follow through, beds are real, and the guys feel respected—not processed. That’s rare in this field.”
“I was scared to leave treatment. Graystone felt calm from day one—clean rooms, clear rules, and people who understood without judging. Grateful I landed here.”
“We looked at several places for our daughter. Plano felt different—warmer, more personal. She’s working, going to meetings, and for the first time we’re not holding our breath every night.”
